FAM ANNOUNCES ThE DATE OF 2025 TO 2026 INNOVATION AWARDS

FAM board at last year's awards 

The Football Association of Malawi (FAM) has announced that the awards ceremony for the best players and coaches of the 2025 season will take place on 6 March 2026 at COMESA Hall in Blantyre.

This will be the second time FAM is holding the awards, which started last year. The ceremony aims to honor players and coaches who performed well in competitions under FAM.

The competitions include the Castel Challenge Cup, FDH Bank Cup, NBM Women’s Premiership, and the NBS Bank National Division League.

FAM said voting guidelines will be announced from 16 to 20 February 2026, while voting will take place from 23 to 27 February 2026. A special committee, working with sports journalists, will manage the process.

Team captains and coaches from the TNM Super League and Women’s Premiership will vote for the best performers.
