Mighty Wanderers Bookend TNM Super League Era
Mighty Wanderers have etched their name in Malawian football history, becoming both the inaugural and final champions of the TNM Super League.
The club first lifted the trophy in 2006, finishing the season with 62 points from 28 games, including 19 wins, 6 draws, and 4 losses. That campaign was spearheaded by Aggrey Kanyenda, who topped the scoring charts with 26 goals.
Nearly two decades later, in 2025, Wanderers reclaimed the title, marking a fitting finale to TNM PLC’s sponsorship era. The team accumulated 69 points from 30 matches, losing only once and drawing nine times, showcasing remarkable consistency.
This historic achievement not only celebrates Wanderers’ dominance on the field but also cements their legacy as a club that has truly defined the TNM Super League era.
